Food Pantry
The United Methodist Food Pantry is a client choice pantry. This means that our “clients” shop our shelves much like a grocery store to provide food for their individual families. Each week our shelves are stocked with food provided for the pantry. Our pantry is open from 9:00 to 11:00 each Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. We not only provide non-perishable food, but have available fresh vegetables, and fruit when in season, dairy products and meat. There is no need to call before coming to use the pantry. Please bring identification for each member of your family and proof of residing within the Stoughton School District. If you are in need of help to provide food for your family, please visit our pantry. Our volunteers are ready to meet you!
The Food Pantry supports a self-selected monthly program of grocery and supply provisions for those in need in Stoughton. The necessary tasks to run the Food Pantry include shopping for food and supplies, stocking items, greeting participants, coordinating pantry visits, and completing paperwork. With interest, contact Jeanne-Schwass-Long who receives mail in the Food Pantry mailbox in the narthex of the Stoughton United Methodist Church. See more.
